Overview
Innovative Solutions currently has a position available for a Network Technician. This is consulting position for someone with 1 to 3 years experience. Applicant must have the ability to work in a fast paced changing environment with multiple customers. This position will provide support to Innovative Solutions customer’s operational computer networks.

Technical Skills and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Certifications: A+, MCTS, MCITP, CCENT
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years
- Systems: Windows XP, Windows 7, MAC, Smart Phones, Cisco, Outlook
Job Responsibilities
Implementation and Support
- PC installation, repair, troubleshooting, upgrading, and maintenance
- Cisco Switch, Firewall, Wireless installation repair and troubleshooting
- Smart Phone setup, configuration, training for users
- Virus and Spyware removal
- Consults with Staff Administrators and Engineers on highly technical problems
- Performs analysis of network needs, recommends computer system that best meets customer’s requirements and contributes to design of network architecture, integration, and installation.
- Assembles and configure network components, PC’s and associated services
- Sets up and maintains basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware and provides assistance to the Network Administrator
Customer Focus
- Provides support to and trains users in local area network environment
- Responds to needs and questions of users concerning their access to network resources
- Prepares and maintains documentation of network configurations, software licensing, and warranties

- Independently motivated and detail oriented.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Establish self as a team member of the company, able to participate and work as a team player complimenting the unique attributes of the existing team.
- Strong ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time
